If you are a pet lover like myself or merely a humane person and you were fortunate enough to view Oprah's program on puppy mills, then I know you cried like I did.  I am glad famous people like Oprah take the time to educate the public and help prevent the support of puppy mills.  I for one, will never buy a puppy from a pet shop.  Most of you know I have five beautiful boys- Jazper, Gizmo, Jake, Chino, and Baby.  All,  with the exception of Jazper, are rescues.  Jazper was my first baby and I got him from a responsible breeder.  I believe in saving lives and adopting unwanted pets is the way to go! ---Hence, point number two: Spay and Neuter your pets.  It is proven that it is a healthier practice and also helps to stop the growth of unwanted fur babies.  Of course, my 5 babies are neutered!

I was so sad to see those poor babies in those puppy mills....especially the females and I can't stop thinking about all of them out there, all over the country        Let's all do our part and spread the word!
